How and when to apply and Fees 
Applications for the Trinity Term 2017 programme are now being accepted.  The deadline for applications for the 2017 programme is 01 March 2017.  The application form can be downloaded here. Each applicant is required to provide two references and supply the referees with the information needed to submit a reference. Information for Referees can be downloaded here.  The FISC reserves the right to ask for an additional reference.
Completed applications can be submitted by post (addressed to the attention of Marie Mann) or attached to an email addressed to the attention of Marie Mann ( 

The total fee for the RSDT programme is £4,800.  This includes the programme fee, accommodation in the residency of the Franciscan International Study Centre, and meals Monday through Friday (weekends are self-catered).  Students are responsible for transport to and from the FISC, catering on weekends, additional travel and visa fee, if applicable.  

The FISC will notify applicants when the completed application form and references have been received.  Applicants will then be informed within two weeks of the reception of an application (completed form and references) of acceptance into the programme. Accepted candidates secure their place on the programme by making the first payment of £2,000.  Payment can be made by cheque or bank transfer.  Cheques are made payable to the Franciscan International Study Centre.  The FISC's banking information for a bank transfer:  HSBC, Sort code: 40-16-11, Account Number: 61002961. Payment of the balance is made at the inception of the programme.

Students who are not residents of the United Kingdom need to ascertain if they need a visa to study here. To do so, visit  The FISC will assist candidates with the appropriate documentation who need to obtain a visa to study in the United Kingdom.
